The Team

Phoenix Explorer Scouts, like all of Scouting, is run and led by volunteers who donate their time to helping our young people.

How Can I Get Involved?

If you are interested in supporting Phoenix Explorer Scouts with your time, knowledge, and experiences then you can get involved as an adult leader if you are over the age of 18 years.

If you are under the age of 18 years then you can join Phoenix Explorer Scouts as a young person; an Explorer Scout. If you are interested in giving your time to help others, you can get involved with the Young Leaders Scheme at younger Scouting sections such as Beaver Cubs, Cub Scouts, or Scouts.

I have been in Scouting since the age of 10 and have loved every minute since. After finishing as an Explorer and taking a years break, I wanted to relight the passion I had when in Scouting.

Explorer Scout Leader (ESL)

I have been an adult leader in Scouts for several years now; I am an Assistant Cub Scout Leader (ACSL) with the 1st Chineham Scout Group. I love getting outdoors and camping and seeing the Explorers getting their opportunity to do things they wouldn't get to do in their normal, busy, school and working lives.
