To earn the Naturalist Activity Badge, you must achieve the following goals:
- Demonstrate your interest in nature by regularly taking part in relevant activities and using a variety of study and conservation and techniques and show how you have improved or developed over time
- Share skills in a recording and observe with a group of young people
- Take an in-depth look at how human activity is affecting the natural world, specifically around pollution, deforestation and farming
- Demonstrate a good knowledge of natural history terminology, particularly local animal and plant species
