To earn the Athletics Activity Badge, you must complete the following:
- Complete an appropriate warm-up routine, lasting between five and ten minutes, that involves gentle stretching and loosening exercises using all main muscle groups
- Discuss the safety rules for athletics in particular, throwing and jumping events
- Demonstrate an athletic discipline to other Explorers and encourage them to try it
- Take part in at least two competitive events or demonstrations and discuss your performance and areas for improvement
